Willowsong Kindergarten in Patutahi has limited spaces available for children aged 3–5.

Only a short drive from Gisborne city and centrally placed for surrounding rural communities, Willowsong is a peaceful haven where childhood is cherished and imagination can truly unfold.

As an affordable, community-based not-for-profit kindergarten, we are dedicated to making meaningful early childhood education accessible to all.

Work and Income (WINZ) Childcare Subsidy

If your whānau meets the eligibility criteria, you may be able to receive a childcare subsidy from Work and Income (WINZ) to help with the cost of kindergarten fees.

This subsidy is income-tested and can contribute towards part of your fees, depending on your household income and how many hours your child attends.

We’re happy to support you through the application process — including providing any documentation you need from us.

Please be aware that the WINZ subsidy usually does not cover the full cost of attendance, so there may still be a portion of fees that families need to pay directly.
